How to adjust the mold

1. Install the mold

A. Measure the thickness of the mold and estimate the travel of the mold thimble plate;

B. Measure the distance between the mold surface and the thimble plate;

C. Mold locking is achieved by stretching the hinge of the manual manipulator;

D. Adjust the distance between the adjusting plate and the template until the distance is slightly thicker than the mold;

E. Operate the mould by hand until the end;

F. Operate the needle retraction by hand until the oil pressure ejector is completely retracted;

G. Stop the machine and install the mould on the board;

H. The clamping and adjustment of mold speed and pressure between 30-50% (too high);

I. the clamping machine hinge is fully extended; Stop the machine to install the mould edge template;

G. A little mold can be returned to the machine manually operated template;

K. Shut down the machine and then tighten the mold; L, re-adjust the closing stroke and the block to make the mold and clamping mold smooth

M. Stop the machine to adjust the ending position before the contact thimble so that the position of the thimble is in the mold thimble row travel.

2. Mold locking force adjustment

A. Manually operate the mold straight through the starting and adjusting device to adjust and reduce the mold thickness

B. Repeat the first step until the hinge and the formwork connecting column (green column) produce enough clamping force clamping force the working pressure of the oil cylinder working pressure of the oil pressure system pressure gauge

C. General adjustment of clamping force is enough to prevent plastic injection blade production, i.e. the clamping force should be adjusted too high to avoid mold deformation and increase hinge load.”
